Stadium:
Al McGuire Center
The Al McGuire Center is an arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin which houses the women's volleyball and basketball teams at Marquette University. It also serves as a practice facility for the men's basketball team. It was opened in 2004, replacing the venerable Marquette Gymnasium. The complex is a $31-million athletic facility named for Al McGuire, the legendary coach who led the men's basketball team to an NCAA championship, an NIT title, and 259 victories in 13 seasons. The McGuire Center offers state-of-the-art practice facilities for men's and women's basketball, including strength and conditioning and sports medicine facilities, an academic center for student athletes, and a Marquette Athletics Hall of Fame.

Team History:
The Marquette Golden Eagles (formerly known as the Marquette Warriors) is the name of the various sports teams of Marquette University. With a National Championshp in the 1976-1977 season, a National Invitational Tournament Championship, and a trip to the Final Four in 2003 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the men's basketball team is a highly respected team in the NCAA. Although it no longer funds a football program, the school has highly-respected history in the sport, including an appearance in the first-ever Cotton Bowl. Marquette's athletic program fields teams in the NCAA Division I level, and the school is a member of the Big East Conference.

Season Preview:
Marquette sophomore G Dominic James will withdraw from the NBA draft and return to school, Marquette coach Tom Crean told ESPN.com Sunday. "I discussed it over with my family, and it's the best thing for me," James told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. James played in Orlando at the pre-draft camps and only had two workouts, with Houston and New York/New Jersey (shared workout). He was projected to go either late in the second round or undrafted. "I feel like another year of college, or maybe even two, will set me up for the future," James, who averaged a team-high 14.9 points and 4.9 assists last season, told the paper. His return should now allow Marquette to compete for the Big East Championship in 2008.
