Stadium: Coors Events Center
Coors Events Center is an 11,064-seat multi-purpose arena on the Boulder main campus of the University of Colorado. The arena opened in 1979, and is home to the Colorado Buffaloes men's and women's basketball teams and the volleyball team.
The building was renamed in September, 1990 after the Coors Brewing Company, for which Coors paid $5 million to the university.[1] The building is an eight-sided concrete structure, with two levels (the upper one being smaller) being above ground and the rest being below. Inside, the building is single-tiered. It replaced the Balch Fieldhouse, the current home of the indoor track and field team located directly adjacent to Folsom Field.
Team History:
The Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team represents the University of Colorado at Boulder in the North Division of the Big 12 Conference. The Buffaloes have competed in ten NCAA Tournaments, making it to the Final Four once (1955). Colorado has played in eight National Invitation Tournaments, winning it in 1940 and making the semi-finals in 1991.

Fairytales always end the same way -- the hero saves the day, gets the girl, and rides off into the sunset to live happily ever after. But what happens the next day?
That's what Dan Hawkins asked himself after turning Boise State into a perennial WAC powerhouse and sneaky Cinderella team during his five-year tenure in Idaho. Hawkins went 53-11 with the Broncos, winning more games in his first five years than all but three other coaches in modern college football history.
But he wanted a bigger challenge, and that's exactly what he got when he took over the struggling program at Colorado.
"One of the reasons I came to Colorado was to reinvent myself, and have to push it, scramble around and figure things out," Hawkins said.
