Stadium: Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium
Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium underwent a major expansion and renovation, which was completed prior to the 2001 season, giving the University of Arkansas one of the finest football facilities in the nation.
The $110 million project (estimated) saw the capacity of the stadium increased from 51,000 to 72,000, but that may not even be the most noticeable improvement.

Season Preview:
Instead of building on a 9-1 start and a Western Division title last fall, the Razorbacks lost three consecutive games and spent the offseason reeling from one controversy after another. With a new offensive coordinator and long-time athletic director Frank Broyles retiring at the end of the year, coach Houston Nutt can't afford to stumble this season. For that to happen the defense, the offensive line and the passing game must come along quickly. Nutt never let former offensive coordinator Gus Mulzahn run the spread no-huddle offense he brought to Fayetteville. New offensive coordinator David Lee will run a more traditional offense based on Nutt's conservative run-oriented approach but still plans to make use of junior tailbacks Darren McFadden and Felix Jones' versatility as receivers, passers and returners. The Razorbacks also return quarterback Casey Dick, receiver Marcus Monk and versatile fullback Peyton Hillis, but must replace three starters on an offensive line that struggled in the spring. Defensive coordinator Reggie Herring prefers an aggressive approach but might have to be more cautious early in the season with a defense that returns only four starters and might have to open the season without starting tackle Marcus Harrison because of a knee injury. The return of sophomore linebacker Freddie Fairchild from last season's knee injury is a big boost and also allows Matt Hewitt to return to strong safety, his natural position. Cornerback Matterral Richardson and free safety Michael Grant anchor a secondary that must replace star cornerback Chris Houston. Nutt has no concerns about using McFadden and Jones on kickoffs and punts if the situation permits, but Arkansas also returns capable specialists such as Hillis, defensive back Jerell Norton and receiver Reggie Fish. Kicker Jeremy Davis could become the punter if signee Alex Tejada comes through as a place kicker. Sportsline.com
